Angry Manchester United fans are staging a protest against the club's owners after getting inside their Old Trafford stadium.
Supporters had gathered outside to demonstrate ahead of the club's game against Liverpool.
Fans have been calling for the removal of the Glazer family as Man Utd's owners since the failed European Super League proposal.

Good luck to them. Whoever thinks their protests were a "disgrace" doesn't understand the relationship between the powerful and powerless. Impactful and creative - superb! More of it. And not just in football. Power and their money, in all areas of life, have been taking the piss for far too long.

to everyone who says violence does not solve anything. how do we deal with terrorism? how did we deal with twin towers? how we have capital punishment and countries that don't people say we should. how did women get the right to vote? how did black people get the right to sit on a bus.? how do the pigs deal with people who won't obey?🤣 the pigs are hated by the people after covid. shame on them. from what I see violence solves everything 🤣

I am probably the only voice who supports the Super League and I don't care because I know my history. In 1992; 22 teams broke away from the Football league and joined the Premier League backed by a 305 million pound broadcast deal with Sky. The deal started in 1990 when representatives of the "big five clubs" (Does the Super League "big six" ring a bell?) met Greg Dyke director of ITV. Dyke knew that it was a more lucrative idea if only the larger clubs in the country were featured on ITV and believed the clubs would definitely be interested in a larger share of television rights money. Sky would later outbid ITV and get the rights. So when I hear the premier league and sky lying to young people who have no history of their football on how the super league is evil I feel bad. I am an Arsenal fan and I am not British but when Arsenal announced that they would be reducing salaries for their staff due to the 2020 pandemic my heart fell. Just like 30 years is no longer interesting, lucrative or financially stable the way it is. Change is inevitable. The Super League is a great idea.
