Like I get it Disney, you wanna go the whole "suicide squad/Harley Quinn/Birds of Prey" route with this, but there's just some characters who no matter what you try and do, cannot make them an individual worthy of their own film. Like you could choose ANYONE else, like Mother Gothel, the evil step mother, hell, even the hunter who killed Bambis mom, and those would at least be somewhat entertaining to watch over a woman whose entire story arc is her obsession with wanting to murder and skin puppies for clothing.
